Smith Hotel has been a fixture along Hwy 89 since 1927. Hwy 89 is a major commerce route between Phoenix and Salt Lake City. Before Smith Hotel was located on this route, the old road brought trade both north and south for centuries. Directions

Coming from the north: Travel down I-15 to Hwy 20. Head south 30 miles from Beaver. Drive east 24 miles until Hwy 20 meets Hwy 89. Drive south on Hwy 89 for 60 miles to Glendale, Utah. Smith Hotel is the second building on the west side of Hwy 89.

Coming from the west: Drive I-15 north from Las Vegas to Hwy 9, Exit 16. Hwy 9 East takes you through several communities and Zion National Park. Summer is tourist season, so be patient with your drive as the park will be filled. Use the pull-outs if you drive slowly, as local traffic uses Hwy 9 as a park pass-through. 15 miles past the east entrance of Zion Park is Hwy 89. Travel north 9 miles. Smith Hotel is the second to last white building on the west side.

Coming from the south, Phoenix, or the Grand Canyon: Coming north from Phoenix, drive I-17 from Flagstaff. Here Hwy 89 moves you north to Page, Arizona. There is a lot to see and do in Page! You will drive across Glen Canyon Dam in Page for 90 miles to Kanab, Utah. Stay on Hwy 89 through Kanab, then drive 26 miles until you get to Glendale, Utah. Located on the west side of Hwy 89, Smith Hotel is the second to last business on the left.
